The rules are different in every country, and they keep changing. Here is what doctors and pharmacists need to know today.

United Kingdom and Ireland
The UK and Irish medical and pharmacy regulators accept OET. In the UK, pharmacists need a grade B in all four sub-tests for the GPhC.
UK pharmacists usually need a separate approved English test for the Health and Care Worker visa.
Doctors and pharmacists
Australia and New Zealand
Ahpra and the national boards accept OET. Pharmacists need Listening 350, Reading 360, Writing 350 and Speaking 360 for registration.
For Australian registration and visas, book OET at a test centre. OET@Home is not accepted.

Canada
Many provincial regulators accept OET for licensing, including the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Each province sets its own rules, so check your college.
OET does not count for Canadian immigration (Express Entry).
Wherever OET is recognized
The Gulf and beyond
Health authorities in many other countries, including the United Arab Emirates, also recognize OET. If OET is accepted where you are going, we can prepare you for it.
